When students press to hard on thier pencil while writing thier hand tends to fatigue faster then students who apply appropriate pencil pressure. The device here will provide students feedback when they are pressing to hard so they can change thier pressure and increase written production.

Wow, you really go into this big time. Good luck on your research. You are absolutely right though about people holding their pen or pencil too tightly or in the wrong position and it becomes tiring very quickly. The excess pressure is also caused by holding the pen improperly. Otherwise the person who writes with heavy pressure will usually opt to use a felt tip betting the width of writing they enjoy without the pain.
